I’ve made the shortlist for Best Fictional Piece in a Blog in the Irish Blog Awards, for the poem I wrote Christmas week tripping on Bach. First poem I wrote in ages, so that’s a welcome bit of encouragement.

incantation
cresting exaltation
breathless
crick-necked, agape – again!
until i ache
surfeit: union
pure.
