I’m back

Well, I’m back blogging, but it has to be different to how it used to be. I’m no longer writing a postcard home, I’m in the thick of things here in Dublin. Writing, especially the more personal stuff, can, paradoxically, be anti-social. It isolates you from those around you, even as you are connecting with others whom you may never meet. For Dublin to be enjoyable, or bearable, I need to connect in a different way. And also, being at work again as a therapist (and soon, teacher) means I have to think things through in a different way.The web business, that I flagged up nine months ago today, has taken many different turns and lay in a backwater for a while, while I recovered from the shock of moving back to Dublin. Now I’m just about coherent again, it’s forging ahead. I’ve been very excited to see how it’s going to look. It will be entering test mode soon. Like many first births, it may be a bit late. But it will be worth it.
