A memorable day. Met the fascinating and deeply impressive Marsha Hunt, who is launching the books on Monday. Neither of us could really figure out why she was invited to do the launch, and yet after an hour with her, we realised we had such a lot in common, and I was delighted.
Then, later, the third degree: an interview with the puckish Joe Jackson, for the Sunday Independent, who had me squirming in my chair asking some extremely pithy questions. I do like him, though, and he was just doing his job, and probably very well, knowing him. We had a laugh too. He’d make a very good therapist – he knows how to go right to the bone.
